Lewis Chen
Lewis Chen is the founder and the first President of Car Sharing Association of Singapore which aims to promote the car sharing service in the region and to engage government authorities for their support. This came to fruition when the car sharing service was promoted by the Land Transport Authority and incorporated into Singapore's Land Transport Master Plan 2013. Prior to founding the Car Sharing Association of Singapore, Lewis was the General Manager of NTUC Income Car Cooperative Ltd (now known as Car Club Pte. Ltd.), the first car sharing service in Singapore before moving on to take on a regional role as the General Manager of INVERS Asia Pte. Ltd, a subsidiary of INVERS GmbH, the global market leader in car sharing technology. Currently, Lewis actively promotes the carsharing service in Asia and assumes a key management role in Car Club to grow the carsharing service in Singapore and beyond. Since 2002, he has worked with organisations as well as the central and local government agencies to develop sustainable urban transportation model through the integration of carsharing service into the public transport system.
